If There’s Only One Path….

Someone once shared a quote with me that said,

“If there is only one path, I would choose to walk on the sunny side rather than the shady side.”

At that time, I understood the meaning but struggled to figure out how to walk on the sunny side.

I’ve had times in my life when I stumbled, suffered, felt sadness, anger, and even despair while hoping for a better life. And that’s okay. Everything has its yin & yang, and we are born into this world to experience it all. But for those who have experienced enough and want to live their lives more peacefully and lightly from now on, it is also a possible world.

It’s not about what’s good or bad in the end, but rather about what kind of life you want to live. And once you decide that, there are ways to get there. We are accustomed to living as if we are going through various attractions in a theme park, reacting to events and bumpy rides in our lives, and experiencing various emotions of light and shadow.

But if preferred, we can graduate from the theme park and live a life where we can sip our favorite drinks at a café while overlooking our lives as human experiences. Although it might not be as dramatic as a theme park, it’s surely exciting in a different way.

To achieve that, it’s necessary to change our patterns of thought and emotion. This is because our reactions to various stimuli while living life in a theme park-like manner are precisely our patterns of thought and emotion. By changing these patterns, we become able to take a broader perspective on our lives and respond rather than react.

While accumulating learning and experiences through mindfulness is very effective, change tends to be rather gradual. That’s why incorporating hypnosis for rewriting the mind besides working on mindfulness is highly effective. Hypnosis is a powerful tool for rewriting the patterns of thought and emotion that reside within our inner consciousness, but it’s not magic. It’s essential to use the rewritten mind consciously with the use of conscious awareness.

The approach of effectively combining mindfulness learning and hypnosis becomes highly effective. As a result, the way we perceive things and how we feel about ourselves change more rapidly, and it’s very exciting to notice that the world we see with our own eyes is changing.
