I’m sure you’ve been struck by intuition, inspiration, aha moments, sudden memory, etc. at some point of your life.
Have you ever tried associating those moments with certain situations, conditions, places, etc.?
I call them my “Mindfulness Spot.”
For me, it’s when I’m taking a shower (it has to be a shower, not a bath although I love taking a bath way more!) and doing the dishes. Both are related to water, maybe because I’m 🐟 Pisces!
Whenever you catch yourself saying or feeling “Ooooh, that’s a great idea!” “Aha! That’s it!” etc., recognize where you are, what you are doing then, who you are with, and so on. If you find a frequent location or situation, that’s your “Mindfulness Spot!”
Wherever it is, whatever the situation is, it relaxes or distracts your conscious mind (thoughts, critical thinking, etc.) and lets your hidden mind more accessible than usual.
When you’re upset, putting yourself in your Mindfulness Spot can help you sort out your overwhelming emotions.
Once you find your Mindfulness Spot, then keep something to write with & write on close to your Spot because you never know when you receive great guidance.
Love, Chika
