This video is a sequel to the last video “Practical Guide to Emotional Control Quick Version,“
which comes with a quick two-step method:
“Waking Up from the state of dwelling on negativity” and “Emotional Shift.”
If you haven’t watched it yet, you can find the link in this video and the last blog post, as well!
In this video, I’m introducing the Complete Version with
an additional 4-step section: “Releasing Emotions”
As I mentioned before, there are no bad emotions.
You may feel uncomfortable with certain emotions,
but emotions are natural phenomena that come up for reasons and necessities,
and they are actually hints that tell us about our inner state.
If you’ve been withholding any negative emotions for a long time,
acknowledging and accepting those emotions can satisfy and fulfill the needs of those emotions,
leading to their neutralization, and then you can let go of them.
Emotions are not visible, so if you’re new to this process,
it might feel a bit challenging to sense the presence of your emotions and release them.
But if you’ve worked on the quick version from the last video
and gained some sense of the relationship between you and your emotions,
I think releasing emotions will be manageable.
At the end of this video, you’ll find a guiding audio of this complete process,
so when the time comes for practice, I recommend clicking the link and following the audio guidance.
↓ Here’s the summary of the entire process of Emotional Control ↓
There are many ways to use your imagination to releast emotions,
but you can be creative and try out any way that works well for you!
It’s important to prepare for your emotional shift. Always keep some ideas close by.
Using a list like this, Youtube folders full of fun, funny, or feel good videos,
or handwritten memos you can quickly access are all great ideas!
Once again, remember your intention to be in charge of your emotions
and focus on feeling wonderful while you’re engaging in any fun activities to make you feel good.
And, observe how your emotions are shifting.
Have fun experimenting with emotional control!
